About Us

A clearer starting point
Retirement withdrawal rules can be difficult to follow. We bring the calculation, distribution factor and explanation together so you can see how an estimate is produced before discussing it with your custodian or adviser.
Our tools are free to use and do not require an account. Enter the details requested by the relevant calculator, review the assumptions and use the result as a starting point for your own planning.
Tools for different questions
The homepage covers a standard account-owner estimate. Separate pages address inherited IRA scenarios, workplace accounts, starting ages, future projections and selected tax withholding. The tables page includes the published IRS distribution factors and guidance on selecting a table.
Each tool describes its supported scenarios. Cases involving spousal elections, trusts, minor beneficiaries or other special circumstances can require an individual calculation that the website does not provide.
How we prepare our guidance
Calculation methods and reference tables are based on published IRS guidance. We explain the inputs, provide worked examples and state assumptions that can change the result.
We aim to keep the explanations readable and the calculations consistent with their stated scope. Rules, account values and personal circumstances can change, so check the current IRS guidance and confirm your actual withdrawal with the account administrator.
Independence and limits
We are not the IRS, a government agency, a retirement-plan administrator or a financial institution. The site does not connect to your retirement accounts, execute withdrawals or provide individualized investment, legal or tax advice.
The Privacy Policy explains how calculator entries and technical information are handled. The Terms and Conditions describe the permitted use and limitations of this website.
