Calculator information

Calculator entries, including balances, dates, ages and selected rates, are processed in browser memory to generate your results. The calculator code does not submit those entries to a calculation service, put them in the page URL or save them to a user account.

Resetting a tool restores its defaults. Reloading the page normally clears the current inputs. Avoid entering information you do not want visible on a shared screen; the tools do not need account numbers, Social Security numbers or account credentials.

Browser storage and downloads

The calculator does not save financial inputs in local storage. Google Analytics may use cookies to recognize browsers and measure visits. Navigation may use session storage to remember scroll positions. That navigation information is separate from calculator entries.

Projection CSV exports are generated locally in your browser. Once downloaded, the file is stored wherever your device or browser saves downloads and remains under your control. Delete it from your device when you no longer need it.

Technical requests and diagnostics

Loading pages sends ordinary web requests to the hosting infrastructure. A hosting provider may process information such as your IP address, request URL, browser information, time of request and response status to deliver pages, protect the service or diagnose errors. Calculator fields are not included in an intentional input-submission request.

The application has error-reporting hooks that can forward an error message, stack trace and page path when the hosting or preview environment supplies a reporting service. Server-side failures may also be logged. Provider-controlled logs and retention are separate from the calculator’s browser-only state; this policy does not promise that hosting infrastructure keeps no logs.

Accounts, messages and third parties

This version has no user registration, newsletter, payment collection or message submission service. No public contact email is currently published. The calculator does not sell or share its input values through an integrated advertising or data-broker service.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and website usage. Google may process page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, interactions and approximate location. Analytics cookies may store pseudonymous identifiers. We do not configure analytics events to include calculator balances, birth dates or other financial input values.

Google handles analytics information under its own privacy policies and the Analytics account settings. There is no integrated advertising service in this version. This policy will be updated if other data collection services are added.

External resources and your choices

External links, if followed, open resources operated by others. Those operators may receive request information and use their own cookies or tracking technologies. Review their policies when leaving this website.

You can reset inputs, close the page, clear browser storage and delete downloaded files. Browser privacy settings control many storage and tracking features. Any privacy rights relating to provider-held information depend on your location and the actual information retained.

Updates and privacy questions

The website is intended for retirement-planning information, rather than services directed to children. We do not offer a child profile or collect information through account registration.
